The Tammy Scandal
I'm sure by now, almost everybody knows about this scandal. The NYP girl who videocam herself having sex with her bf. While there are many who judged and ridicule the girl, there are also many others who sympathise with her. And they should:
1) Legal issue - Unless the action took place in a public place, she is not committing any offence. It's just for her (and her bf's) own enjoyment.
2) Legal issue - The clip was not distributed by her. Her phone was deliberately stolen, and it's not her fault that thieves are everywhere.
3) Moral Issue - Unless she is a Christian or Catholic, no one can't judge and say she is doing something morally wrong by having pre-marital sex. Many girls I know lose their virginity by 16, or before 16. Not me, though.
A particular blog I came across said she shouldn't have video-cam herself in the first place. I personally feel there is nothing wrong with doing that. Just that she should have saved the clip in something else other than her phone.
Don't all of us have some kind of sexual fantasy? Some people like to make out in public toilets, some like to play with blown-up dolls, some like to ass-fuck .... So what the hell is wrong that this girl wanting to video-cam herself? Hell ... it might not even be her idea in the first place.
The only person to be blamed is the one who put up the clip for the world to see. Now, Tammy might have been a bitch, but to subject her to such humuliation is taking it too far.
I hope the person gets his/her fingers clipped off, so that he/she will not be able to click on the mouse again.

Hey, I don't think it's wrong for her to film it. Though if she did make the film, she should've been aware of the consequences if it got out.
I don't think they can get good evidence as to who stole her phone. It's probably being used by someone after they found it in a rubbish bin. Joker can upjust uplaod the dirty deeds and then put it up to the internet at just about any bloody internet cafe.
No moral judgements, but if you're silly enough to make sex vids and then lose it, you probably deserve it. I'd personally film something intimate, watch it and then destroy it. Why take the chance?
Although if I were Tammy, I'd try cashing in on it now. Since everybody's saying she's a bitch and it's a lost cause to try proving otherwise, you might as well make some money from it. Maybe NYP might give her an endorsement deal. After all, she's helped them shed their image as Singapore's most boring poly. She can even do a quick turn around and become a spokesperson for the Catholic Church. We all love the return of our prodigal daughters.

You make it something bad for your image and store in your handphone. I'd give 100 points for honesty and maybe 10 for genius. To me, it's simply, you did something stupid, someone took advantage. It's a hard cruel owrld out there, and better you learn it now than later. She really should take something positive out of all this. A lesson. After all, she's paying the price, it'd be such a shame not to learn it ey?

what is it with pple who like to critcise the sex lives of others?! i mean, come on! its their own private life. leave them alone. sheesh. :p

ogre: I'm not saying she is very bright to keep the clip. What i can't stand is how people say "she deserves it becos she is a slut by video-caming herself".
I believe some NYP mgt people probably think the way you do, but as bittersweet puts it, this is a "act morally upright country" so the school (or the church, for that matter) is likely to juz let this opportunity slip by.

the people who criticise are probably people who ain't getting any or enough or have really really boring sex lives.
You know my opinions on sluttiness. I don't think Tammy's a slut. Actually, I dont agree with much of society on what constitutes a slut.'Personally, I think a slut is someone who sleeps with men only and solely for the material gains to be had. There's no love, like, or sense of fun involved. Even a girl that sleeps with people for simple fun might not actually be classified under slut. really depends on the context in which she does it. Anyway, there are just as many misunderstood bastards out there.
